Do you envision yourself as a leader? Do you know someone who is a devoted member of the community and would enjoy contributing even more? The Lantern Village Association Nominating Committee is seeking nominations for its Board of Directors vacancies for 2023.
Directors are elected each year through a single-slate ballot. The committee will present a roster of candidates to the board, which will review the nominees and appoint the new directors, Board of Directors shall be for a term of 2 years and thereafter until a qualified successor is elected.
Board member duties include providing leadership, legislative advocacy and information regarding emerging issues in the community, as well as regularly attending the board meetings, which take place from 6:00 to 7:00 PM on the third Wednesday of each month. Board members also are expected to participate in a majority of the LVA special events.
